Microblading / Powder Ombre Pre & Post Care

1 Year Before Procedure:

- You are NOT a good candidate if you have taken Accutane, Tazorac, or any similar medication within one year before the scheduled permanent makeup procedure.
30 Days Before Procedure:
- Avoid Botox and fillers around the brow area.
- Avoid Glycolic acid, chemical peels, and laser treatments on the face.
- Avoid Retinols and anti-aging creams such as Retin A.
2 Weeks Before Procedure:
- Avoid all facials, threading, or waxing around the brow area.
- Avoid extensive sun exposure and sunburn on the face.
1 Week Before Procedure:
- Avoid Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Naproxen (Tylenol/Acetaminophen is ok to consume).
- Avoid fish oils, DHA supplements, cayenne supplements, turmeric, vitamin E, niacin (or anything that can cause blood thinning).
- Avoid marijuana and smoking.
- If any of the above are taken for medical purposes, please consult with your physician.
*1-3 Days Before Procedure:
- Avoid alcohol (especially red wine).
- Avoid coffee or tea (1/2 cup is ok, drink decaffeinated) or excessive amounts of caffeine.
Day of Procedure:
- Avoid intense physical activity (light yoga and walking are ok).
- You can wear your makeup to your appointment so I can see the shape and shade.
- Bring in any of your favorite eyebrow makeup or inspiration pictures.

Post care:
* Do NOT Rub, pick, or scratch the treated area. Allow any scabbing or dry skin to naturally fall off.
-Avoid: Intense sweating exercise for 10 days or until no longer peeling.
- Avoid:Saltwater, chlorine, swimming, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and SPF for at least 10 days.
- Avoid:Harsh cleansers, physical or chemical exfoliants, direct sun exposure, and tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat or stay in the shade when outdoors.
-Avoid:Long, hot steamy showers; keep your face out of the water while showering for 10 days (you can use the provided face shields).
- Avoid:Makeup on the treated area until it is no longer peeling (makeup on other parts of the face is fine).
- Avoid:Excessive sweating. If you sweat, gently cleanse the brow area immediately to remove the sweat.
- Avoid:Facials, Botox, chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks following the procedure.
- Avoid:Sleeping on your face for 10 days (use a clean pillowcase).
What to Expect During Healing Phase
Day 1-2: Eyebrows will become 2-3 times darker, appear thicker, and may look almost 3D and uneven in shape.
Day 3-7: Eyebrows will still be dark and begin scabbing. As scabs fall off, the area under the scab will appear light or almost colorless. This is normal. Do not pick the scabs.
Day 7-10: Eyebrows will appear patchy in color. If loose scabs are stuck on the eyebrow hair, gently remove them with a cotton swab or the provided mascara spoolie. Eyebrows will appear their lightest in color. The true shape and color will be visible between weeks 3-6. Be patient!
Day 10: You can now wash your brows! If any scabs remain, gently wash them off and resume your normal skincare and makeup routine.
Day 11-Week 6: Color will start reappearing and darkening. The skin will appear fully healed by weeks 2-3, but it is not fully healed underneath. Skin type and age determine healing time; younger skin may heal in 4 weeks, while more mature skin may take 6-8 weeks. Once healed, there may be bald spots or loss of original hair strokes. A touch-up is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure to perfect the brows.
Long Term Care:
- Use a good sunscreen on your brows (sunscreen with zinc or titanium dioxide as the first ingredients).
- Inform your technician and/or care provider about your permanent cosmetics before any future MRI scans, chemical peels, or laser procedures.
- Use of Retin A/Retinol/Tretinoin, chemical, or acid peels, or any rapid skin exfoliation products on the forehead will cause the permanent makeup of the brow area to fade prematurely.
- Makeup directly on the eyebrows will alter the color appearance. To reveal the true brow pigment color, keep the eyebrow area free of makeup if desired.
Additional Important Information:
Be aware that the result of the procedure depends on various factors, including medications, health conditions, skin conditions (such as oily, dry/flaky, loose, or lax skin), diet, and adherence to aftercare instructions. These factors can affect your healed results. Antacids, thyroid, and anxiety medications may interfere with permanent makeup retention or shift the pigment to an undesirable tone. An informed client with realistic expectations and diligent skin care, especially protection from UV rays, will experience better outcomes and longevity of permanent cosmetic procedures.

Lash Lift Pre & Post Care
PRE-CARE :

- Remove contact lenses before your appointment. If needed, we provide solution and cases.
- Arrive at your appointment without any eye makeup.
- Refrain from using waterproof mascara for at least 2 days before your scheduled treatment. Residue from waterproof mascara can hinder the lifting process.
- Avoid curling your natural lashes with a lash curler for 24 hours leading up to your appointment.
- Ensure you don't have any eye infections or irritations in the eye area, as treatment cannot proceed until these conditions have cleared up.
- If you've had Lasik surgery, please wait a minimum of 6 months from the procedure date before scheduling your appointment.
- If you haven't filled out the consent form beforehand, arrive a bit earlier to complete it.
- Note that we cannot perform a Lash Lift & Tint if you currently have extensions.

AFTERCARE:
Although a Lash Lift requires minimal maintenance, some care is needed during the first 24 hours:
- Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid hot water, steam rooms, and swimming for the first 24 hours.
- No mascara for the first 24 hours, and avoid waterproof mascaras in general.
- Sleep on your back or side, keeping your lashes off the pillow for the first 24 hours. Your lashes are prone to kinks during this period.
- Wait at least 6 weeks before your next lift and tint appointment.
- Avoid using eyelash curlers, as they may weaken and damage your lashes.
- Do not touch or rub your eyes, eyelashes, or eyebrows immediately after the treatment.
- If redness or irritation occurs, apply a cool, damp cotton compress to the eye area. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, seek medical advice.
- Be gentle with your lashes—no rubbing or pulling.
Additional Care Tips:
- Remove eye makeup gently with a non-oily remover.
- Gently brush your lashes as needed with a lash brush.
- Avoid any oils around your eyes for 2 days after treatment.
- To keep your lashes healthy and prolong the life of your lash lift and tint, condition them. One week after treatment, brush on coconut or castor oil twice a week. If you are trying to grow your lashes, apply castor oil nightly.
